Hey ya’ll, it’s me back again with a SUPER simple dinner recipe! You know I always try to make weeknight dinners as easy as possible, and this dinner couldn’t get much more simple. And bonus, you only dirty one dish! It’s warm, filling, and makes great leftovers (if you even have any left haha!). This No Peek Chicken Bake recipe only takes about 10 minutes to put together and was a crowd favorite for sure! And once it’s in the oven, you leave it alone until it’s done, hence the no peeking part haha. Let’s check it out!

Simple No Peek Chicken Bake Recipe

You Will Need:

  • 2 lbs chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup (if you don’t like cream of mushrooms you can use another can of cream of chicken)
  • 1 can chicken brother
  • 2 cups instant white rice
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • Salt, Pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste

Directions for my Simple No Peek Chicken Bake Recipe

Step 1: First go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×15 baking pan

Step 2: In the bottom of your baking pan, add in your cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, chicken broth, and white rice. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: Now it’s time to add your chicken on top. You will want them sliced into strips and seasoned to your liking. I used salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little Slap Yo Mama seasoning for some heat.

Step 4: Now you will be pouring the contents of you onion soup mix on top of your chicken, Cover the baking pan tightly with foil.

Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 1 minutes. Make sure not to check on it, leave it wrapped in foil the whole time! (But do check that your chicken has reached an internal temp of at least 165 degrees F before eating!)

And that’s it! I told you it was going to be super easy. And let me tell you, while it’s cooking your house is going to smell AMAZING! The rice is cooked perfectly, and the onion soup mix really gives it a nice flavor. It’s a family favorite around here for sure!
