I’m a mom of 3 precious children, wife to one special man, domestic goddess of the home and a wanna be writer. We make our crazy home in Nashville, TN. We make a point of eating dinner with our children every night and loving on them every day. That’s my family life.

I have had many occupations. I earned a degree in teaching and have worked in that area in some fashion for over 17 years. I even ran my own home daycare until a pregnancy and bedrest interrupted it. After my second child got here, I built and ran a website for over 5 years on cloth diapering and natural parenting. This allowed me to work at home and bring in a small income before selling it. Two children under the age of 3 made it very hard to work doing all the jobs of a one person empire…such as: ship/inventory/payables/receivables/customer service/etc. While running my website I was also the Education Director of my church before it was bought out by a bigger church. What is an Education Director? It’s a fancy word for being a volunteer in charge of other volunteers because no one else wanted to do the job. lol I seem to greatly enjoy mixing up the jobs in my world. My friend once said that it appears I like a challenge. Working at home gave me the nudge I needed to start my blog and make it successful! I’ve been blogging here since 2008 and blogging since 2002. I love to share money saving tips, recipes, crafts and even some fun pop culture. 

Here I am going to get the kids to drive them to their next activity.
