One of my favorite types of food (regardless of what time of the day it is) happens to be anything breakfast related. Give me some eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, etc and I am a happy woman. It’s usually easy to make, full of flavor, and something the whole family can agree on. One of my favorite things about breakfast foods is its ability to mix the sweet and salty flavor combos. There is so much you can do with that flavor combination and today I wanted to share with you one of my personal ways to achieve that perfect balance. My cinnamon roll pigs in a blanket recipe is super easy to make and it perfect for Sunday morning brunch. You only need 2 ingredients (yes, really!) and it’s ready in less than 20 minutes! Want to know how to make it? Keep reading!

Cinnamon Roll Pigs in a Blanket Recipe

You Will Need:

  • 12 precooked sausage links
  • 1 can cinnamon rolls

Directions for making Cinnamon Roll Pigs in a Blanket

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and grease a cookie sheet

Step 2: Take your cinnamon rolls out of the can and cut them in half, flatten them out with the back of your knife.

Step 3: Now it’s time to grab your precooked sausage links, you will take each link and wrap a piece of your flattened out cinnamon rolls around them.

Step 4: Bake your pigs in a blanket at 375 degrees F for about 14 minutes.

Step 5: While they are still hot, go ahead an take the icing that came with your cinnamon rolls and drizzle them over the top of each one. Serve warm!

See? I told you it was going to be super easy didn’t I? Serve it along side some scrambled eggs and you will be good to go with a breakfast, lunch, or dinner that everyone is sure to love. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
