I am a person that loves nothing more in the summer then to have a small fire with the sticks in the yard, roast some marshmallows and put it in between chocolate and graham crackers. It’s the best part of summer. When I came across this recipe for a quick and easy dessert to make any time of the year I jumped on it. It’s so incredibly simple and yet yummy. I love the sweet and salty combo it just makes me happy. Here’s how you make pretzel s’mores.

Pretzel S’mores

Enjoy this easy to make treat. It has that lovely sweet and salty combo.

These are so fun. They would be super easy to make in a classroom and let this be a station for the kids at a party. They would love taking part in making a snack for themselves. I am a former teacher and this would be something I absolutely would make into a station and they would learn about heating, cooling, melting, etc. You can incorporate science, math, even language if you had them write a comment describing what these taste like using adjectives. Fun, fun! You can leave the profession but it never leaves you!

What do I love about this recipe? It’s a one pan recipe. It’s very easy clean up. It requires no math and very little thinking. It’s so simple.

Other ways you can do these instead of s’mores. You can use a rolo and make them sweet and salty that way with a pecan on top like a turtle. You can try a peanut butter cup with a marshmallow on top so it’s a peanut butter fluff pretzel. There are so many ways to make these. What other ways can you think of?
