If you are a huge Wicked fan like I am then you will want to know how to make these delicious Wicked cupcakes! I’ve got a fun easy recipe today that will make others green with envy to see your cupcakes! The movie is about to release in theaters. If you know me, you know that I’ve seen the play twice at TPAC and already have plans on seeing the movie. I can’t wait. But that’s not what you’re here for, are you? You’re ready for some cupcakes! Let’s look at how to make the Wicked cupcakes.

The cool thing about these Wicked cupcakes is you never know which color you’re going to get. So, when you open the box this is how they look. You can have green like Elphaba or pink like Glinda. But when I opened them up they looked just like any old cake mix right? But when you mix them up…

TaDa! It was so fun to see it go from just another cake mix to being Glinda the Good Witch cake mix and all pink and pretty! You make it just like any other cake mix. First, let me go get them into the oven.

Then you just follow the instructions on the back of the box. They turn out so yummy looking! Picture of them out of the oven (they were in the oven on 350* for 15 minutes in my oven.)

I love how they smell when they are cooking. Here they are out of the oven and cooling. Now we followed the recipe on the back of the box to frost them as well. They give you whipped topping which you pair with milk and whip it together. So, get out that Kitchenaid and let’s get to whipping. I usually pipe my frosting on and usually just use a sandwich bag. That’s what I did below.

Wicked Cupcake Ingredients Needed

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbs oil
  • Wicked box cake mix from Betty Crocker
  • 1 cup milk (for whipped icing)

Wicked Cupcakes are a fun afternoon activity for you to do with the kids!

You could make the cupcakes and then head to the movie and enjoy a Wicked good time! Who else will be enjoying this movie soon? I love the take that this Wicked is reimagined!

Which one looks good to you the cupcakes or the Wicked cookies? They both look pretty yummy!
