I am a huge lover of oatmeal for breakfast. I love the feeling of the warmth when it hits my tummy. It just makes me happy. Whenever we are on vacation and stay at a hotel I almost always eat the oatmeal at the free breakfast. I was wanting some oatmeal this week so I decided to make some in a jar so we could eat on it all week. With a hubby working out of the house, along with both kids, and me at home working on the blog this was a much loved breakfast idea. Now here’s how you make maple brown sugar overnight oats in a jar recipe.

Notes
Once you’ve made this once you will return time and again to keep making it for your family. I know some people don’t like using artificial flavors like my syrup. But I’m a huge believer in using what you have and so that’s what I used. I much prefer the natural maple syrup. Here’s my ingredients.
First, pull out your clean jelly jars. You’ll need 6 for this recipe. Add your dry ingredients.
Then add whatever milk you prefer. I go from almond milk to vitamin d depending on my mood.
Be careful and choose the best milk for your recipe. It is what makes it deliciously creamy.
Next, put your lids on your jar. Then shake over the sink. It’s a definite no muss no fuss recipe.
Finally, you can eat and enjoy. Now there’s two ways to eat this. I microwaved mine for 30 seconds in the microwave and then checked it. Then microwaved it about 20 seconds more. Yours may need more or less depending on your microwave. My husband prefers to eat it cold, straight out of the fridge. It is good that way too. Your preference! What other flavors should I try that you have enjoyed with your oatmeal?
