Twisters Review: Edge of my seat through the Storms of Cinema

The latest blockbuster to hit the silver screen, Twisters, has taken audiences by storm with its gripping tale of courage and resilience in the face of nature’s fury.  This adrenaline-pumping adventure promises not only heart-stopping action but also a deeper exploration of human tenacity and the unbreakable bonds of friends (whether old or new). It’s worth noting that the main characters do not kiss, have a sex scene nor does Glen take his shirt off. 😛 It was a fantastic movie to watch at the movies.

Each tornado feels uniquely menacing yet strangely mesmerizing, thanks to the impeccable CGI and meticulous attention to detail. The two dancing tornadoes were nothing short of scary! Like Tyler Owens says, “You don’t face your fears, you ride them!”

Lead actress Daisy Edgar-Jones  delivers a poignant performance as a meteorologist determined to decode the secrets of tornadoes while confronting her own personal demons. As someone who lives through many tornadoes during the year in Tennessee, this movie has now scared me of how powerful  and dangerous they can be. I will forever take them seriously!
