The lows are going to be in the 40s this weekend here in Tennessee and I couldn’t be happier! The “ber” months of the year have to be my favorite. I just love fall and winter. I also consider it crock pot season! It’s so nice to throw everything in the crock pot before I leave for work and then have a nice hot meal to come home to in the evening. One of my favorite types of crock pot dinners have to be any kind of chicken that I can just throw over rice/pasta/potatoes and call it a day. My easy crock pot teriyaki chicken recipe has quickly become a family favorite around here. It’s full of flavor and so easy to put together! We just pour it over some instant rice and it makes for a perfect dinner. It also makes great leftovers that heat up really well! Let’s check it out shall we?

Easy Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

You Will Need:

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 bottle Teriyaki marinade
  • Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp minced Garlic
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Ginger
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions for making this easy crock pot teriyaki chicken recipe:

Step 1: Place your chicken in the bottom of your crock pot and add your seasonings and garlic.

Step 2: Once your chicken is seasoned, now it’s time to add your teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds to your crock pot. Set your crock pot to Medium for 6 hours,  or High for 3 hours.

Step 3: Make sure your chicken hits an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, and once your sure it’s cooked properly, it’s time to shred it up! I just use 2 forks and shred it right in the crock pot, because I’m not trying to create  any more dishes than needed on a busy weeknight, ha!

Step 4: Let your shredded chicken sit in your still warm crock pot, and while you do that it’s time to make some rice! I just use some instant rice because it’s quick and easy. Once your rice is done, all you need to do is scoop your yummy crock pot teriyaki chicken over your chosen rice and top with a little more sesame seeds and some green onions and you have a delicious dinner!

I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did!
