One of my favorite types of recipes for a snack, an appetizer, or even as a lunch or dinner is ANY type of dip. Something about a good dip recipe speaks to my soul. I love how you can eat it in so many different ways. You can grab a bag of chips, some crackers, crusty bread, or if you are trying to eat a little healthier (aren’t we all in the new year?) some fresh veggies! I knew I had to share one of my very favorite dip recipes with my readers. Ya’ll, this is the easiest buffalo chicken dip recipe ever! It takes about 10 minutes of prep time, 20 minutes in the oven, and that’s it! It’s got a great kick, it’s nice and creamy, and it’s perfect for game day, an easy lunch, or a snack to take to work with you. It can be eaten hot OR cold too! In the new year I’m really trying to step my healthy game up, but being able to enjoy the things I have always loved. Simple things like switching out the cream cheese for light cream cheese, and using fresh veggies make it easier to stay on track. I also love using this recipe in my meal prepping so I’m not tempted to run across the street and get fast food on my lunch break.
Let’s check out how to make it shall we?
The Easiest Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
You Will Need:
-2 Cups shredded chicken (I cut up a rotisserie chicken)
-8 oz Cream Cheese (softened, or you can use whipped cream cheese, which is what I use)
-1/2 cup of buffalo sauce
-1/2 cup ranch dressing
-1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
-Optional: Green onion for garnish
-Optional: Sprinkling of Slap Ya Mama Seasoning for more of a kick
Directions for my Buffalo Chicken Dip:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grab a shallow baking dish.
Step 2: In a large bowl combine your shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until well combined.
Step 3: Add in your seasoning and your blue cheese crumbles. Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Spread your mixture into your shallow baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Step 5: Optional: Cut up some green onions for garnish on top of your dip. Serve with chips, crusty bread, crackers, or fresh veggies.
So, was it as easy as I promised it would be? I think so! It’s such a great recipe for busy nights where you are in a snacky mood. It’s also my favorite game day recipe for all year round! What would you pair your buffalo chicken dip with? Let me know in the comments below!
