I made this today for breakfast and oh my word was it good. I did cut the maple syrup down in my recipe but you can leave it in and enjoy it that way. As a prediabetic I’m trying to get rid of sugar and not add it back in! Here’s the delicious and yummy recipe.

Ingredients

2 c old fashioned oats

2 c milk (your favorite kind)

1/4 c maple syrup (I used an 1/8 c because I’m watching my sugar)

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1 15 oz can peaches (half chopped and the other half whole)

Mix all but the whole peaches together. Spray 9×13  pan. Add whole peaches to the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes depending on your oven (mine was done in 40). Let sit for 5 minutes then enjoy!

Easy and so good! What kind of fruit would you make this with? I am a peach lover so I was planning on peaches the whole time. Yum!

This is so awesome! Love the recipe, just would tweak a bit and use mixed berries for the fruit. Yum!

I agree with your decision to cut down on the maple syrup. The natural sweetness of the fruit is plenty for my family. Thanks for the recipe.
