You guys, if there is one thing I’m sucker for, it’s ANY type of dip. Sweet, salty, hot, cold, etc. If I can dip something in it, I’m game. Especially on busy days where we don’t have time for a sit down dinner. I’m all about quick and yummy meals and snacks. I’m more of a salty fan, but my kids always want the sweet stuff. So over the weekend we were craving some cheesecake, but I’m going to be honest, making cheesecake is kind of a pain, and I simply didn’t have the time to do it. So what’s to do? Make a dip of course! And let me tell you, this chocolate chip cheesecake dip recipe is SO good. It tastes just like biting into a crustless cheesecake and I am here for it. It also takes about 5 minutes to make, and that’s it. It’s also super versatile. If you want to double up on the sweet, you can use fruits or gram crackers, or you can bring in some salt by using pretzels or ruffles! (Pretzels are my personal favorite). Let’s check out how easy it is to make shall we?
Here is how to make my Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip Recipe
You Will Need:
- 8 oz cream cheese (I used whipped cream cheese, you could also use softened regular cream cheese!)
- 8 oz Cool Whip
- 7 oz Marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Your choice of dippers (gram crackers, pretzels, fruit, animal crackers, chips, etc)
Directions for making Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip:
Step 1: In a large bowl combine your marshmallow fluff, cream cheese, and cool whip. Mix well to combine. (I just used a spatula hand mixed it, but you could break out the mixer if you wanted to save a little time if you wanted to!)
Step 2: Once everything is smooth and well combined, add in your chocolate chips, mix well to combine.
Step 3: Set your chocolate chip cheesecake dip into the fridge for a few hours (or until firm).
Step 4: Serve cold with your choice of dippers!
That’s it! Just a few ingredients, and about 5 minutes of prep time and you have a delicious dip that tastes just like a homemade cheesecake with 1/3 of the work. And if there happens to be any leftovers after you serve it, it will keep in the fridge about a week. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

wow, this looks amazing
This just perfect for me! I love cheesecake but don’t like graham crackers at all. So this way I can use animal crackers, Lorna Doons, anything. Thanks!!!
We’re making this! There’s always the usual suspects of onion dip, chips, soda and cookies. The kids love chocolate.
That dip look delicious!
