Can you believe it? Spring time is almost here! Anyone else super ready for warmer weather, the plants to start blooming again, and the days to get longer? I know I am sure am. Springtime is one of my favorite times of the year. I can pack away my winter clothes, get ready for spring cleaning (which ok, I don’t actually like doing, but I do love how my house looks at the end of it all!), and starting my seedlings for the season. With a new season, it usually means new home decor, maybe some organizing a cleaning supplies, and more. Where is my favorite place to shop for spring items? The Dollar Tree! So many people forget about how many awesome things you n buy there anytime, but especially during the spring time. So if you want to save some money and start your springtime out right, keep reading! I’ll share with you the best items to buy from the dollar tree for spring!
Note- Not all Dollar Trees will have the same items at every store, I did my best to check several in my area to get a feel for the most common items in all stores.
Gardening supplies- I know that dollar tree might not be your first thought when you think about getting ready to plant your spring garden but let me tell you, they are stepping up their garden game as of late. They have a decent selection of flower/vegetable seeds, small bags of mulch, gardening tools, and even cute decertations for your garden as well.
Party Supplies- Now, Dollar Tree has always been one of my first go-to’s when it comes to any type of party supplies. They have the best wrapping paper, tissue paper, bows, etc. And I love how in the spring they bring out decorations for Easter, spring time, and all the pastels and florals. you can really whip out something beautiful with their springtime party supplies (and not break the bank while doing so)
Cleaning Supplies- If there is one thing that screams springtime to me, it’s spring cleaning. I have a love/hate relationship with it myself. I hate doing it, but I love the end result! Dollar Tree has a great selection of cleaning supplies that work just as well (and sometimes better!) than the name brand supplies you can get at other stores. And speaking of spring cleaning…
Organization supplies- This is probably my favorite category of items to get from the Dollar Tree. They are STOCKED with amazing organizational supplies. They have every size bin for storing just about anything. It’s really helped keep my crafting hoard in order.
Kitchen Items- Another one of my favorite categories is all things kitchen. From tableware to cutlery, wine glasses to pizza cutters, they have it all. They also have a great selection of left over keepers, and last time I went I saw they even had some new meal prep containers in. My favorite item I have ever gotten was a hamburger meat tool that I have seen at other places that normally sell for $15-$25. For a $1 it was the exact same thing ya’ll!
Outdoor toys- This one is for the kiddos! Dollar Tree has a great selection of outdoor fun. Bubbles, chalk, kites, and more! It’s a fun activity to give the kiddos a set amount of money and let them pick out their fun spring time outdoor toys, and you can really get the most bang for your buck.
Craft Supplies- Last, and certainly not least, craft supplies. In the last year or so, Dollar Tree’s around me have really expanded their craft selections. We even have yarn and knitting supplies now. As well as tons of glue choices, florals, felt, paints, and more. Pair that with their super cute Easter offerings and you can make some amazing spring time crafts with your family.
