As the temperature drops more and more I am reminded that the holiday season is soon to be upon us! One thing I love to do every holiday season is a cookie/candy exchange with my friends and family. It’s always so fun to see the sweet treats everyone has come up with and trying all of them while enjoying some hot chocolate and a good Hallmark movie! This year I decided to go the candy route to bring a little something different to our sweets exchange. That’s where my easy and delicious crock pot peanut cluster candy comes in.

I know I wanted something easy, and something I could make in large batches easily, and cost effectively.  This recipe is SO easy and you don’t even need that many ingredients. They are the perfect balance of sweet and salty and should be a real crowd pleaser. Let’s check out how to make them shall we?

Here is how to make my easy and delicious crock pot peanut cluster candy:

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 150 oz salted peanuts
  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips
  • 1 bag white chocolate chips
  • 1 bag butterscotch chips
  • wax paper

You ready for how easy this recipe is?

Instructions for how to make my crock pot peanut cluster candy:

Step 1: Put your peanuts in the crock pot.

Step 2: Put your chocolate chips in a bowl and mix to combine. Once they are combined go ahead and throw them in the crock pot on top of your peanuts.

Step 3: Set your crock pot to LOW

Step 4: Go in about every 10 minutes to stir your mix. Use a plastic or wooden spoon to do this. (It’s just easier to clean the plastic or wood, if all you have it metal that’s fine!)

Step 5: After an hour (or until all the chocolate is melted) prepare your wax sheets by placing them on your counter top. You will need several sheets as this recipe makes quite a few candies!

Step 6: Using a spoon, scoop up dollops of your candy mix and place them on your wax paper. Do this until you have cleared your crock pot.

Step 7: Let your candy cool completely. When cooled, gently peel them off of your wax paper and they will be ready for packaging!

And that’s it! In about an hour you will have a super yummy crock pot peanut cluster candy that is sure to be a hit at your next holiday sweets exchange!

Looks good to me, but there’s a peanut allergy in the family. I’m sire I could tweak it and make it with salted cashews, or even pistachios. And it does seem easy to do, thanks!

This would make a perfect treat for a party. I would also be pretty to put in a decorative bag and give it to friends and family for the holidays. I know that I would love to receive this. 🙂
