Fall is finally here, and the weather is starting to feel just perfect outside! Fall is my favorite time of the year for crock pot meals. I love coming home to the smell of a nice hot meal cooking. One of my newest recipes that has become a family favorite is my simple crock pot Swedish meatballs recipe! For anyone that is lucky enough to have an Ikea near them, I swear these taste JUST like the ones they have there! And since the closest Ikea to me is about 4 hours away, I don’t get them as often as I want, but now I can make them whenever I want, so I manage. With that being said, I knew I had to share this simple crock pot swedish meatballs recipe with you all, and I hope you enjoy!

Here is how to make my Simple Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs Recipe:

Here is what you will need for my simple crock pot Swedish Meatballs recipe:

  • 2 lbs fresh or frozen meatballs. (I use frozen to save time)
  • 1 pack onion soup mix (the dry mix, NOT the soup)
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Optional: parsley for garnishing

Instructions for making simple crock pot Swedish meatballs recipe:

Step 1: Pour your meatballs in your slow cooker

Step 2: In a mixing bowl add your beef broth, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix, cornstarch, and all spices together and mix really well until all ingredients are combined and your sauce is smooth.

Step 3: Once your sauce is mixed well, pour over your meatballs.

Step 4: Cover your crock pot with a lid and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.

Step 5: Top with your parsley and serve!

You can serve these super yummy crock pot Swedish meatballs over noodles, mashed potatoes, rice, or even by themselves as a appetizer for holiday get togethers! They are creamy and full of flavor and if you love Swedish meatballs, you are going to love this recipe! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
