Super Easy Chex Mix Recipe

Now that the air is getting cooler and fall has officially begun, we spend a lot more time indoors as a family. One of our favorite things to do as a family together in the colder months of the year is have family game name at least once a week! It’s a good way for us to turn off our devices and be in the moment with the people that matter most. And what does a good family game night need? Snacks!

We always love finding new snack recipes but sometimes you gotta go with something that you know will be delicious and a crowed favorite. And what is a snack that everyone can always agree on? A Super Easy Chex Mix of course! It’s easy to make, it keeps well, and you can customize it in so many different ways. You can add things, swap them, or omit them all together if you want to. Once you once the basic recipe you can make it your own in no time! Let’s check out how easy it is to make shall we?

Here is my super easy Chex Mix recipe:

You Will Need:

4 cups rice chex
4 cups corn chex
2 cups pretzels
2 cups peanuts
6 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp red pepper

Directions for making my super easy Chex Mix recipe:
Step 1: Add chex cereal, pretzeles, and peanuts to your large crock pot.
Step 2: Pour melted butter over the mix and stir well.
Step 3: Sprinkle with seasonings, stir again.
Step 4: Finally, pour over worcestershire sauce and stir well.
Step 5: Cook on low for 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally to keep the mix from burning. Once finished, lay the mix out onto a parchment paper covered cookie sheet to cool. Enjoy!

The perfect addition to family game night. A great big bowl of chex mix! I always love trying new ingredients when I make a fresh batch. Sometimes I’ll change out the nuts, or try different flavors of pretzels (I highly suggest the mustard pretzels in your next batch of chex mix, SO good!).
