It’s almost Thanksgiving. So like most bloggers I’ve already made a Thanksgiving meal. I wanted to make a turkey breast in my instant pot to see how it tasted and if I loved it as much. So last night I did. It was moist and flavorful and so yummy. The entire family enjoyed this simple and easy way to make a turkey for your Thanksgiving dinner. It’s a no fail recipe for sure! Just follow my directions below and make yourself a yummy turkey breast in your instant pot too!

Turkey Breast Recipe for the Instant Pot

Here’s my Instant Pot Turkey Breast Ingredients

Turkey Breast
3 stalks of celery cut in 3 pieces placed in pot beside turkey
whole onion cut into wedges and placed around turkey
1 3/4 cup of chicken broth
1/2 tsp sage
1 tsp garlic
any seasoning you like (I used a parmasan based seasoning that was actually for dipping bread into) You could do 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp parsley, and salt and pepper to taste

Instructions for cooking your turkey breast in your Instant Pot

Put your trivet into the Instant Pot. Add your turkey and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pot. Shake your seasonings you like over the turkey. I used about 1 tsp of garlic and 1 tbs of the parmesan seasoning. Add celery to sides of pot around the turkey and place a wedge of onion in the turkey and the rest around it. Put lid on it and close the vent.
Press manual high for 55 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally (I did 15 minutes). Then release vent and steam. Let cool for ten minutes. then pull out and cut up and eat. It was absolutely delicious. This fed my family of 5 for two meals and that’s with 3 teens and 2 adults. It was so moist and flavorful. You will want to add this to your new Thanksgiving routine I promise!
