Are you looking for a yummy comfort food recipe to keep the kids full? Why not enjoy my Chicken Alfredo Recipe made in your Instant Pot! It’s a super yummy way to get dinner on the table fast. The kids and the family will love it and only you will know how long it took to make it using your instant pot!
Ingredients needed for your Chicken Alfredo recipe
in the Instant Pot!
Chicken Thighs (I used boneless and skinless 5 thighs)
Chicken broth 1 small can
Cream Cheese (I use neufchatel) I block
parmesan cheese 1/2 cup real cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Broccoli florets
Saute your chicken thighs in your Instant Pot until the outside is browned and crisp. Add onion (1/2 onion diced), 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1 cup of chicken broth and cook for 14 minutes on high pressure. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Then release the rest of the pressure.
Open lid and add 2 cups chicken broth, 1 cup of milk and 3 teaspoons of corn starch. Stir this together until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste and parmesan cheese. Add broccoli florets (I use frozen). Turn saute function back on and stir until it starts to thicken (about 5 minutes). Once it begins to thicken turn it off and let it cool down for a few minutes. It will thicken more as it cools. I’m old fashioned and cook my noodles on the stove because I prefer them al dente. Then just add the chicken alfredo to your noodles and enjoy!

You should really put in there to deglaze the pot after you cook the chicken, so many new people to cooking in the IP will not know to do that and will get a burn message but carry on
