I was given the opportunity to review Henri’s Hats, Sleepy the Goodnight Buddy and Are You Scared Darth Vader? These are my honest opinions of these story books. 

As a teacher my love of story books is as vast as a library. I spend a lot of time at the library even today. To receive these books to review and then hopefully use in my classroom is a gift. Let’s first discuss Henri’s Hats. 

 

Henri’s Hats children’s book review

Henri’s Hats is a brightly colored children’s book that is set to take your children on an adventure. They will get to experience all the hats that Henri’s grandpa has worn at one time or another and then see them through Henri’s eyes. It’s a fun, sweet and happy read that I know any young class of children will want to hear over and over again. It will go in my substitute bag as I get back out into the teaching world. It is a book that children will want to listen to each night before bed or simply as a fun book during the day. I know my kids would love this book and want to hear it daily. Remember those days? It’s a funny story that the kids will so enjoy at bedtime. From learning that someone else hates to go to bed and is trying to find all the ways to get out of it to fearing that the night may never end. Your kids will laugh out loud at this funny book. These are books that I would add to my school library as well as my home library for my kids or grandkids. They are super cute, well dawn and fun for the kids as well as the adult who is reading them to the kids.
