I was invited on an all expense paid trip to cover the amazing #HanSoloEvent from our partners at Disney
Last night in Los Angeles, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo were joined by director Ron Howard and producers Kathleen Kennedy and Simon Emanuel for a walk down the red carpet, which featured theMillennium Falcon, and greeted enthusiastic fans at the world premiere of SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY.
It was such an incredible experience to be walking the red carpet at the Solo World Premiere. I’m just in total awe that this event happened and I was able to attend it. Solo was always my favorite character and they brought an amazing young Solo to life. It was surreal. Check out how dressed up our stars were on the red carpet.
Just look at that incredible cast. It was one of those experiences you do not ever think you will have. Wow. While we were walking the red carpet we got a short time to take some pictures. Here’s a few I chose for you!
When we first stepped on to the carpet we saw Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) himself. The sun was going down and my picture had been almost unusable until the magic of photo editing software. It really is a blogger’s best friend.
You’re going to love hearing about our interview with him. He was so gracious and kind. Then we found the Solo area. Check me out in my dress on the red carpet in front of a Lego version of the Millinium Falcon.
It was such a special night for me. My brother and father both loved Star Wars. I just wish they had been here to follow me on my adventure. What a night!
How fun was that? Do you see what the Solo world premiere sign is made of? Solo Cups…ba bum bum. So let’s see a trailer of the film and some film information and then we’ll head to the after party.

After the movie we were able to attend the after party. It was star studded to say the least. Here’s a few photos of some of the stars. I bumped into scoundrel and thief Tobias Beckett who is played by Woody Harrelson on Solo.
I ran into Ron Howard’s brother too! Check me and Clint Howard out below! He was the kindest gentleman.
There was lots of yummy food and a fun DJ there at the party. We were in the midst of greatness. Ron Howard was there. Paul Bettany, Emilia Clark, Alden Ehrenreich, Joonas Santo, Thandie Newton and so many of the cast of Solo. My friend Barb sat down and looked beside her and there sat Billy Dee Williams (the original Lando Calrissian). She was so pleased he held her hand and talked to her. What a gentleman. Of course I had to get a photo with the most famous at the after party. STORMTROOPER!!
And that’s a wrap! What an amazing night. I’m so very thankful to have been able to experience this in person. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Stay tuned tomorrow for my review of Solo! Will you go see it when it opens on May 25?
