This year I began working outside the home full time. It hasn’t been easy to get into the routine of making sure my lunch is ready as I’m heading out the door. I only get 30 minutes for lunch so I pretty much take all of my food with me each day. When I get up I get ready for work and then head straight to the kitchen to pack my lunch and my breakfast. It’s not that hard to make good choices when you are away from home 9 hours a day. Here’s what I’ve been packing in my lunchbox lately.

For breakfast I either eat a scrambled egg that I take with me or I eat a bowl of oatmeal. These are both super easy ways to grab a quick breakfast on the go. They both leave me full and able to dig right into my work each day. This year I’ve also tried to increase my fiber and eat better. I have lost 17 pounds since January and I want that to keep going. So here’s what I’ve been taking in my lunchbox each day.

I’ve tried to increase my fiber and eat better meals that help me feel fuller longer. Weight Watchers® has some great items that I was able to grab at Walmart to make some yummy lunches for work. When you’re working full time it has to be fast and easy.

The first thing I made was a wrap with the Flatout wraps. I made these repeatedly this week for lunch. I love that it has half the calories but all of the taste. I just added some salad, cheese, lunchmeat and ranch. They were so good. My kids were fighting over who got to take one to school in their lunch too.

Doesn’t that look so yummy? This Flatout is big on flavor and yet it’s high in protein and fiber. It’s such a simple meal solution for me to create a quick and easy lunch. I found mine in the deli and bakery section of my local Walmart. I love that Weight Watchers Endorsed Flatout® Flatbreads are all 2 – 4 SmartPoints® value per serving.

The other thing is to find a favorite snack. My go to snack right now is the JOLLY TIME® Healthy Pop® Popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers.  You can’t go wrong with 100 calorie packs to help me keep my portions in line. I love that they are Non-GMO and gluten free as well. For only 3 SmartPoints®  that is value per serving. It’s also a Weight Watchers endorsed product. So you know this is a good snack! I keep two packages in my lunchbox at all time. It’s so delicious.

Another fave that helps me get lunch made and out the door are the Arnold® Sandwich Thins rolls which are endorsed by Weight Watchers. I love that I can eat less calories then bread and still feel like I’ve had a yummy sandwich. It’s so worth it. They are an excellent source of fiber. They have many different flavor varieties: Whole Wheat, Honey Wheat, Flax & Fiber to name a few. They’re also only 3 SmartPoints® value per roll. Lunch is done!

When I began the new Freestyle™ program I fell in love with the fact that there are zero Points® foods . This makes using the Weight Watchers® products and finding what you want to eat so much  easier. It’s great to have these smart options and flexibility to enjoy more delicious recipes and foods to help you reach your goals. Now if I can get those last 3 pounds off.

Planning ahead is key and getting stuff ready the night before is very helpful. Sound like some great food is being bought and prepared and your saving money by taking your lunch.

I know lots of people who have had success with Weight Watchers. I know I’d enjoy the food. I use those sandwich thins for my lunch often.

I enjoy eating the FlatOut bread and those sandwich thins. I don’t like giving bread up completely and these are great ways to enjoy my favorite sandwiches and wraps.

I remember when there was a lot of “work” involved in following a diet. Weight Watchers had made it a lot easier these days.

I pack my husband and kids lunches everyday during weekdays. Sometimes I run out of ideas so this helps.

I’ve seen so many people have great success with Weight Watchers. I’ve personally never used it. Although, I have thought about it.

I am in the process of trying to do exactly this. I have not lost any weight so I definitely need to tweak it, but we are getting somewhere. I am exercising just about every day and I am very well aware of what I’m eating. I like the idea of packing stuff ahead of time so that I don’t cheat.

These smart choices are such a great idea for your on the go meals. Those wraps make a simple sandwich a fabulous meal. I will try and get some of these endorsed breads.

I used to have a calorie controlled meal delivered to me daily. These weight watcher meals can really be an alternate for a healthier meal.

Great suggestions! A friend was just mentioning the benefits of the flat bread for sandwiches when watching what you eat. I’ll have to try out the one you suggested in this post. My goal is to make simple and small changes so I can stick with them in the long run.

I think this is awesome! Definitely something that I would make at home especially if I’m busy and don’t have much time to cook.
