Every time I think I know how to manage my health I read an article with a different view. Well I have some easy ways for you to manage your health. Sometimes it takes just stepping outside the box and looking around to find an idea that may be helpful for you to lose weight or manage your blood sugar. It’s really that simple. So let’s look at some ways I found on how to manage your health.

One of the first tools you can use is my free water tracking and fitness printables. These printables are an excellent way to make sure you are keeping your body hydrated with the water tracker. A well hydrated body just flat out works better.  A well hydrated body means that you are doing a better job at keeping your metabolism up. You want your metabolism high to help lose weight. The fitness trackers ensure that you are also working out. Whether you can work out hard core or whether you’re just starting the free printables will help you track your goals.

The second thing you can do to manage your health is manage your blood sugar. Simply increasing your fiber intake definitely helps you manage your blood sugar. You increase the amount of vegetables you are getting and that will help you feel full longer too. This is a key way to help you take a few pounds off too.

The third thing you can do to manage your health is to find some sugary snack replacements (as in cut out the sugar). I like to do a Glucerna shake and a hard boiled egg as my snack for the morning. It’s filling and you do not seem to want to eat in an hour like you do with other snacks. The reason for that is the Glucerna shakes are Carbsteady. That means they have slowly digestible carbohydrates designed to help minimize blood sugar spikes. This is so important for managing your blood sugar!

I found my Glucerna at Walmart.  You can see where I found it in the aisle in the below picture.

Because I work full time outside the home it is important for me to make sure that I have enough food to last me for the entire day that I am gone. I do not have time to run get some fast food. My lunch box typically has eggs, oatmeal, an apple, salad, chicken, dressing, and a Glucerna in it! It makes for a day without any sugar slumps because I ate poorly. If you’re looking for something that is helpful in managing your blood sugar take a second look at Glucerna.  You can get a Glucerna iBotta rebate here too. Get yours at Walmart today! What are some other tips you have for managing your health or blood sugar? Leave them for me in a comment!

I have a diabetic friend who uses Glucerna all the time. It helps her keep her blood sugar level when she’s out and about and can’t have a regular meal.

I love the printables you included. I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy and I love that there are products out there to help make your life easier if you are struggling with sugar issues.

I need to be better about my date intake. I suck at it! I agree your health and your diet go hand in hand.

Why do you think it’s so much of a challenge to drink enough water? When I do drink enough, I feel noticeably better. You would think that would be enough incentive to do it every day, but I still have trouble doing it. It’s very frustrating!

This is the first time I’ve heard of these products. I’m going to have to check them out when I go shopping next. I’ve been working on being more fit and healthy, so these sound like the products for me.

I’ve been hearing a lot about this and I think it’s awesome that it contains less sugar. We’re trying to limit our sugar intake in the house and this can definitely help us loads!

Cutting out artificial sugars is definitely something I need to do to improve my diet. I like the idea of drinking glucerna to get the recommended amount of sugar intake for my blood levels.

Cutting out all sugar was the best thing I ever did. I feel so much better and have lost a ton of weight. I’ve not tried Glucerna before.

That looks great especially if you love to snack. I think I’d like this. I am great about eating good, but sometimes at night before bed, I just get hungry all over again and have to stop myself from visiting the pantry.
