If you’re looking to find ways to sneak exercise into your day then you’ve come to the right place. We often set yourself up with exercise expectations that are difficult to achieve. Today I want to share a few ideas with you so that you are able to achieve your fitness goals while you’re doing everyday tasks.

Easy Ways to Sneak Exercise into your Day

Walk to Destinations

Whether you are in close vicinity to your work, the kid’s school or parking further away at a local grocery store trip, there are many ways you can sneak a daily walk into your life. I understand that not everyone works within walking distance to their home so that’s why I offer another way to sneak walking into your daily life. When you head to the downtown to run errands, try to park further away from the entrance. This action may seem small by itself but when you make the conscious choice to park further away from every entrance of every location you stop at, that’s a lot of walking time added to your day.

Work that Core

It’s easy to work your core while waiting in line at the grocery store or even standing up in a business meeting. Flex those stomach muscles whenever you have a chance to. No one will even know that you’re doing these stomach flexes because it’s pretty much invisible. This is a great way to sneak in that core workout to get that tummy back in shape. You’ll also be so focused on doing stomach flexes that time will move quickly while you wait your turn in line or listen to your boss during a meeting.  The rule of thumb is to flex your abs for 10 seconds and repeat for 10 intervals, it will get easier each time.

Stretch Every Morning

Even the simple act of adding stretches to your morning routine is an easy way to sneak exercise into your day. Every morning step out of bed and do some leg and arm stretches, perhaps touch your toes ten times and do similar stretching activities so that you can work that flexibility. While this will increase flexibly it’s still sneaking in small steps of fitness into your day without taking away from the time you need in other areas of life. You can do this every morning and within two weeks it will simply become part of your daily morning routine.

Exercise at Desk

There are many products online and in local retail shops for the person who sits at a desk all day but wants to sneak in exercise. Everything from an under the desk elliptical to adding weights to your legs, you name it. There’s a product out there that’s affordable and easily added to use while you are sitting at your desk working. Learn to use those leg muscles in a tiny workout with products geared towards those business women and men who are seated all day long. While this option means you’ll have to spend a little cash, it’s well worth the investment.

Each of these easy ways to sneak exercise into your day will be perfect to help you achieve your daily fitness goals. Watch that scale as inches remove from your body and the scale slowly climbs downward. Achieving your fitness goals is easy if you simply find easier ways to sneak in that exercise during your daily routine.
