This is a book I dearly loved growing up. I didn’t remember much of it going into the movie except for the love that I had for the book. As I watched it, bits and pieces of it returned to me. I think Disney did a great job with this movie. I love that the themes of your flaws are just as important as your good attributes. I loved the overall theme of never letting the darkness take over your light. I asked my teen and tween what their thoughts were about this movie and they both stated how much they enjoyed it. Considering they’d never read the book I consider that a big win. My son thought that the theme was family above everything and that is a pretty good way to describe it. Never put your work or your love of x over your family!

A WRINKLE IN TIME Trailer:
If you have small kids there is occasionally a dark scene that may be a bit hard for them to watch. But overall I think it is pretty safe for the kids. If you enjoyed the book you will enjoy the movie. The all star cast certainly didn’t hurt! Go see it and enjoy it like we did with our little family.
