Whenever we plan game day parties we always plan for a fun food-filled day. My husband and his friends are always ready for football and the food that goes with it. But there’s got to be a way to save money on those parties, am I right? It costs a lot of money to host events like these and we love to host them. Today I put together some strategies to save you money when you host your game day parties.
Strategies to save you money when you host game day parties
The first thing you can do to be prepared for game day is to plan your menu. By planning your menu, you can plan ahead and watch the sales. Then you can do what I did which is get your items on sale at your favorite neighborhood Publix. We love nothing more than turkey burgers and hot dogs to feed a hungry crew on game day. Check out the $24 savings you can get on many different products at Publix beginning on January 20. There’s so many great products there to save money on. My husband made a super easy recipe for this game day meal. All he did was spice up these Butterball® Frozen Turkey Burgers. To do that he used:
1 tsp Tabanero sauce,
3 Pickled jalapeños cut up from a jar
Hot pepperjack cheese
Butterball Frozen Turkey Burgers
Hamburger Buns
He was so happy with this recipe. See his picture of his deliciously spicy burger below!
Both my sons are super spicy food fans. They enjoyed this recipe. My daughter and I enjoyed them rather plain. We do not do very spicy foods like this. It’s just too hot for us. But it’s always a great idea to offer both to your game day party participants. Let them choose spicy or not as you offer them a turkey burger bar!
Another way to save money on Game Day parties is to have your friends or family help by bringing a side dish or dessert. Let everyone bring a dish and enjoy the party. This helps spread out the costs of the party over the family and friends that love to come over. They can even help by bringing drinks to the party too.
Having friends over doesn’t have to cost a lot. There are great ways to host your game day party and to save money too. When you shop the deals at Publix, you can stock up and save. Publix has a large list of products that are on sale and total up to $24 in savings. Grab your game day food at Publix and save money too. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying friends and game day on a budget. It’s a win/win in my book!
What ways can you think of to save money and host your favorite Game Day Parties?

My family loves Turkey burgers, this one is very delicious, not only great on grill even on oven too. I am glad I have Publix around my area, they always provide great selections and many game party items are on sale, thanks for sharing the deals.

These sound simple and delish! I love spicy additions to food and we make turkey burgers often so I think I’ll spice them up similar to this the next time around!

Because the spicy burger recipe looks as delicious as it does, I can’t wait to try this special recipe out. I only hope I will be able do as good as you did in the heartwarming photos.
