In addition to their great product that looks to shed light on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), they’re also launching a global inventor movement.

The competition will run from November 15, 2017 to January 10, 2018.
  • Fans and families will be able to submit their own leading-edge Droid design creations, judged by Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley (the actress who portrays Rey in the current Star Wars trilogy) and Kelly Marie Tran (the actress who portrays Rose Tico in Star Wars: The Last Jedi) alongside Ayah Bdeir (founder and CEO of littleBits) and Kathleen Kennedy (president of Lucasfilm).

Here’s our finished product on video with my furbabies.

Droid Inventors Kit Giveaway and Review

I was given this kit on my trip to learn more about the Thor Ragnarok press junket.  My kids loved putting this together. They spent at least an hour to an hour and a half putting this kit together. My son is so into STEM and very hands on. He loves to put things together and had a blast. He loved the programming of the droid and the entire process of assembling it together. It was so much fun as a mom to watch them all work together as a team to get the droid to do what they wanted it to do. Would your kids enjoy putting one of the Little Bits droid inventors kit together? How would you like to win your own R2D2 kit for your kids? Enter to win below!
