Are you looking for a fun app that will keep the kids learning this summer and not break the bank? Check out my review of Zap Zap Kindergarten math and then grab it for the kids!

Review of Zap Zap Kindergarten Math

zap zap math

So what do I like about this game? I like that it builds on each of the areas. You have to pass each one to get to go to the next harder step. For instance you start off counting. Then you work your way to adding. Then subtracting. Then adding or subtracting three digits. You have to pass each level to move to the next one. So if you don’t understand it you should ask for help so that you can understand it and move on to the next area. Just like in a classroom they want you to excel at it before you move on to the next harder skill. As a former first grade teacher this makes me happy.

I also love that this app tracks and measures how the child is doing. This way it knows what needs to be worked on more and what they can go ahead and move on to.  I love that it covers a nice broad range of math practice and that it is delivered in a structured, module-oriented manner. It covers things like number recognition, addition and subtraction, and shapes and measurement.  Watch a bit about this wonderful learning tool.

Check out this Zap Zap Kindergarten Math video to see what it’s like!

The Zap Zap Kindergarten math does look like a fun and colorful app. I would have liked this for my children when they were younger.

As a college student now, these games make me miss the old elementary school days! So cute and fun— will definitely pass the game on to my younger siblings.
