It’s so hot! Summer in Tennessee is sweltering. Sometimes it’s fun to have a bbq, invite your friends and make some fun drinks for the party. That’s what we did this past weekend. We love to entertain and have friends over. We just had to move this party inside it was so hot! Those 100* days call for a yummy berry lemonade. It makes a refreshing drink to cool down with on those sweltering summer days. So let’s see how I made our berry fresh lemonade recipe!

How to make refreshing berry lemonade

I love to share a slice of summer and this drink does just that. The first thing I did was to grab our Minute Maid® Lemonade and fresh fruit from our local Food Lion store. Here’s where I found it in the aisle.

After I grabbed my lemonades I added some berries to my lemonade in a pitcher and then set about to make the lemonade berry ice in my muffin pan. I am one of those people who doesn’t like watered down drinks. I ask for no ice when I go places. So I immediately set about making my own ice by pouring my Minute Maid® Lemonade and berries into a silicon muffin pan. Silicon because then it’s easy to pop our berry infused lemonade ice out to use in our pitcher. Here’s how I made them.

You can see I just placed berries in the muffin cups and filled it with Minute Maid® Lemonade. Then placed in my freezer for 2 hours. What do I enjoy about this lemonade? I love that it’s made with the goodness of real lemons, It is this family’s favorite refreshing beverage with a great taste of a slower, simpler time. It reminds me of when I was growing up.

See how easy it pops out. I just love to do this so it doesn’t water any of our drinks down. It’s a great way to keep your drinks cold on a hot sweltering summer day!

Then I decided to make fruit fluff dip to go with our bbq that day!

My fruit fluff dip has only two ingredients and you just need a mixer to mix it together. It’s delicious. It consists of Neufchatel cream cheese and marshmellow cream. Mix them together and place in a bowl to eat with your fruit! Delicious.

The next thing I made for our BBQ was the fruit cornucopia so that the kids could walk around with their food and not worry about a plate. They loved these! I just filled the waffle cones with fruit from Food Lion and Voila! Delicious and easy snack for the kids. They loved them.

You know teens. There was a lot of shenanigans going on at this bbq!

We also grilled some chicken and had a delicious meal. Topping our meal off with our berry lemonade made it a meal to remember!

Lemonade tastes so much better in the summer. If you make lemonade in the winter, it is just a kool-aid type drink.

I love the trick you use to keep the drinks from becoming watered down. I too hate watered down drinks.
