My girl and I love to craft! It’s our one thing we do together. When we saw this similar sign on my friend Diana’s front porch we decided right away to make one for our front porch and one to give as a friend. It is so simple and easy to do. It’s a wreath like craft that is under $10 to make! Check out my easy way to make a flip flop welcome sign.
How to make a flip flop welcome sign a fun, simple craft.
First head off to your local craft store and gather your items needed to make our flip flop welcome sign.
Flip Flops 4 pairs
one piece of wood (wood stake)
foam letters
buttons, flowers, whatever you like
scissors
hot glue gun and glue sticks
Then make your flip flop welcome sign.
The first thing I did was see how far across my stick that my flip flops would go. Then marked them and cut my stick. I made it so that the stick went halfway on the last two flip flops on either side. Then after cutting the stick to size I glued my flip flops down. If you flipped my stick over you can see that the toe of the flip flop is on top of the stick. This is so I can put my ribbon on there to hang the sign up.
Add your welcome letters and buttons or flowers and hot glue down. Then flip it over and add the ribbon (around the toe holes on the underside of the flip flop and tie it off) to make it hang. Let it sit for 10 minutes and the glue will dry. You have now made your flip flop welcome sign. Didn’t it turn out cute?
