This post is in partnership with Mean Green Products. All opinions are honest and my own.

Does cleaning the bathtub bother your back like it does mine? Well I’ve got an easy way to clean it so that your back doesn’t hurt again. Check out how to clean your bathtub without hurting your back and do it my way! (Did you sing that last line like I did?)

How to Clean Your Bathtub without hurting your back is easy!

What’s the first thing you do to clean that bathtub?

The first thing I do is spray down my tub with my Mean Green Mildew Remover. Then I let it sit for 5 minutes. I come back and check out how it looks. It’s usually pretty dirty like this.

Before gross shower

See the soap scum and the grossness around the tub? Bleh. This is my kids tub so enough said. How do I clean it? It’s so easy. I just grab a broom that I no longer sweep with. I use that broom to clean the sides and bottom of the tub. I clean up the sides, the soap and shampoo area too. It cleans up so well. Here’s the after.

after cleaning the bathtub with a broom

I wish I could take credit for this great idea. But it was my husband’s idea! You pair that broom with the Mean Green Mildew remover and it’s a match made for your back.  Do you have a broom sitting around not being used? Put that sucker to work cleaning your bathtub! Pair it with Mean Green Mildew Cleaner and it’s a winner!

Good idea! I don’t have any suggestions, really. I just get down on my knees and bend from there. Some people can clean the tub right after they have taken a bath, shower, etc. while they are in the tub, but you’d have to be extra, extra careful about slipping.
