I have been compensated by Johnson’s® Baby for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.
I don’t have a lot of spare change lying around not doing anything. I have 3 growing kids and all my money goes to feeding and clothing them. So when I can find beauty hacks that save me time and money I’m all about them. I also try to make them as natural as I can. So today I will share my beauty hack for a face scrub! It’s super simple and requires two items.
I was at my local Walmart the other day grabbing groceries for the family which is actually unusual. I tend to use their pick up service. I usually place my order the night before and then just run over and let them load it. I love that service. However I needed a few other items as well so I ran in. I was over in the shampoo aisle and saw that they have the Johnson’s Baby wash, shampoo and lotion there. I was just going down memory lane thinking about my babies and how I always loved how they smelled. So I thought why not get some for me. If it works so well on baby it will work just as well on me. I remembered about my buy one get one free coupon from this Sunday’s paper and I used it. Grabbing it up I promptly put it in my cart and headed to grab my other most needed items. It’s so convenient to be able to get all I need and find the Johnson’s Baby Lotion to at my local Walmart.
Fast forward to me bringing it home. Gosh I still love the way the Johnson’s Baby Lotion with shea and cocoa butter smells. It’s divine. I put my oatmeal in my container that matches my cotton ball container. This way I can keep it on the counter with my other products I use regularly. See my below pic.
Then after I wake up I just put a teaspoon full of oatmeal in my hand and added the Johnson’s Baby Lotion to it.
I then mixed it together in my hand and used it on my face.
And as I’m using it on my face to get my glow!
I love to do this as my morning ritual. I get the moisturizing effects of the lotion and the scrubbing off of the dead skin cells. It makes my face look bright and ready for the day. It’s such a simple yet effective beauty hack. What are some of your beauty hacks to help keep your finances on track? Have you ever made your own face scrub? What’s stopping you? Exfoliating is almost as important as moisturizing! That’s one thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older, and I’ve started paying more attention to my skin. This is a good hack.

I love DIY beauty product. I will have to send this to my daughter as she is always making stuff for her face. She has dry spots so this looks really good.

Yay for this! I’m all for taking good care of my skin. I recently just tried this oatmeal & tomato regimen, but this one is something that I’d definitely try. I haven’t seen Johnson’s Shea & Coco Butter ( must smell good ) here in my country but I hope they do bring it soon. Can’t go wrong with Johnson’s 🙂

Interesting! I’ve never seen a DIY scrub that used lotion in it, but if it works for you that’s awesome!

I’ve never tried making my own scrubs at home. I have tried placing an egg on my face though, it was gross!

My children grew up with Johnson’s baby products! I love that they now have different scents for their colognes, and different formulation for their lotions too. I will give your facial scrub suggestion a try. It does look it does a good job of getting the dead skin out plus moisturizing your skin too.

I love using oatmeal as a beauty treatment. I grind mine up more and make a mask out of it.

I would be afraid I would scrub too hard. I love J&J products they really have always worked well for me. I also love the smell. It is all I use after a bath or shower especially in the winter.
