Valentine’s Day Kiss Sugar Cookies

Sugar cookie with a kiss for Valentine’s Day
Ingredients
8 tbsp. butter, softened ( 1 stick )
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks ( room temp )
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ cups flour
¾ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
red cake sprinkles
24 Hershey’s kisses
Red Sprinkles
Parchment paper
Baking pan
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar.
Add in the egg yolks and vanilla and beat until incorporated.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until just combined.
Roll the dough into balls slightly bigger than a tablespoon.
In a small bowl pour out your red sprinkles
Roll each ball of dough in sprinkles.
Place each ball on your baking sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
Let cool 5 minutes after removing from the oven.
Now put a Hershey kiss in the center of each cookie.
