Homemade Rose Petal Sugar Scrub

You guys. It is officially November. WHAT!? When did this happen? There are only like 7 weeks until Christmas. Did it sneak up on anyone else like it did me? I have always been a planner during the holidays (ok, and pretty much any other time of the year as well) so I already have my list of people to buy gifts for, as well as little notes of things that they like and/or have asked for.

It seems like spa products are a big hit this year, we all need a little pampering I guess, which is great for me because I am all about some homemade spa gifts. So I knew I had a few friends that love my homemade rose petal sugar scrub so I had to make some to go in their beauty baskets this holiday season. Would you like to learn how easy it is to make this yourself? Let’s check it out!

Here is how to make my homemade rose petal sugar scrub:

You Will need:

• 2 Cups Sugar
• 3/4 cup of dried crushed rose petals
• 2/3 cups coconut oil
• 6-8 drops of your favorite essential oil (I used rose!)

Directions for making this homemade rose petal sugar scrub:

Step 1: Add your sugar to a bowl and add 6-8 drops of your essential oils. Mix together carefully to avoid clumps.

Step 2: Add your rose petals and coconut oil to your sugar. Mix well until smooth and rose petals are Incorporated well. 

Step 3: Scoop your homemade rose petal sugar scrub into cups, mason jars, or anything else you want to display your new sugar scrub.
