Simple And Spooky Skull Candle Holder Craft
Ya’ll…Halloween has got to be my #1 favorite holiday! It’s so fun to decorate, get dressed up, and get a little spooky. Lucky for me, my whole family loves Halloween as much as I do, so we all really get in the spirit around the middle of September. I think the reason I love Halloween so much is that it’s the kick off to the holiday season. It’s cooler outside, and we have Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas back to back. It’s just a more fun part of the year right? So when it comes to Halloween I love getting a little crafty and sharing it with you guys! This week I made a really cute and simple Skull Candle Holder that would look perfect on a mantle or as a table centerpiece. The best part is that it cost me $4 to make. You gotta love the dollar tree right? Let’s check out how easy it is to make!
Here is how to make your own spooky simple skull candle holder:
You Will Need:
- 2 Plastic Skulls (I got mine from the dollar tree, but I imagine you could also use ceramic, or any other material other than foam)
- Super Glue
- A small flat candle holder
- A candle! (I like the flameless candles because I have very curious cats that like to burn their noses, ha!)
Instructions:
Step 1: Using the skull you want on the bottom of your Skull Candle Holder flatten the top of the head. This is where your top skull will fit and rest.
Step 2: Using your superglue, glue your top and bottom skull together. Hold the pressure for about 30 seconds or until secure. Let dry completely if not using superglue.
Step 3: Once your structure is sound and put together it’s time to add your candle holder. Depending on the type you got, you my have to flatten the top of your skull to allow your candle holder to rest.
Step 4: Glue your candle holder to secure it in place. Add a candle and ta-da, you are done!
How easy was the right? For $4 and in just 4 steps you have a simply spooky Skull Candle Holder that is sure to delight your Halloween guests I hope you enjoy!
