I had three great uncle’s that served in the military.
My husbands nephew is in the Army, currently stationed in Alaska.
My husband, my father and my father-in-law have all served in and retired from the military. Thank you for bringing spotlighting this organization!
In my family on both sides my mom and my dad we are able to list a family member that has been in every war in the US starting with the Civil War all the way up to the present day wars.
I remember my grandpa Peters and Uncle Home shooting rifles for Memorial Day and for other military funerals..
My father who passed away twenty years ago was a Army Medic during WW2, my husband father was Army Tank Division-
My great grandfather was a World War I and II Vet. He lived to be 104, and President Clinton sent a representative to his funeral in honor of him. My brother was a Marine (sniper), my niece is currently in the Air Force, my nephew was a Marine (Iraq), and my cousin a Marine (Iraq) as well.
My grandfather and a couple uncles have served. I also have a few friends who are now serving.
That would be my nephew Jason who is currently serving in the military.

My grandfather was in the military. One of my brothers best friends was a marine and served 3 tours in Afghanistan. We are so glad he is now home safe with his wife and children.
