I told you guys that I can’t wait to attend the red carpet premiere of Pete’s Dragon. Disney has invited me on an all expenses paid trip to cover this for you! I’m so excited. The countdown is officially on. I am leaving on Sunday! Here’s the fun things I’ll be doing, seeing and interviewing while I’m there! Squee!! I’m so excited!

Here’s what we’ll see and do on the Pete’s Dragon Red Carpet trip!

Sunday we arrive at LAX and get to our hotel. After dining there we’ll head off in a van to screen the new Queen of Katwe. I’m pretty excited to see this movie. It’s supposed to be fabulous. After that we’ll be crashing in our hotel room for the night. It’s been a day of travelling so we’ll be exhausted. Here’s the Queen of Katwe trailer and it will be in theaters 9/23.

The next morning bright and early we’ll head back to the Disney lot. We’ll be screening THE JUNGLE BOOK Blu-ray bonus features and then we’ll get to do a Q+A with Producer Brigham Taylor and Visual Effect Supervisor Rob Legato. I’ve not had time to see this movie yet so I’m excited to see it!

After that we’ll get to see the new and exciting products that Disney has coming out for the toy market. This is one of my favorite parts!

The same day we’ll be screening of the short INNER WORKINGS (which will play in theatres in front of MOANA) followed by a Q+A with Director Leo Matsuda and Producer Sean Lurie of said short! This was so fun last time because the short we viewed the writer/creator won an Oscar. How exciting! Following this is the MOANA Footage Presentation and Drawing Demo with Head of Animation Amy Smeed, Head of Story Dave Pimentel, Story Artist Dave Derrick, “Mini Maui” Animation Supervisor Eric Goldberg and Development Sr. Creative Exec Jessica Julius. We’ll have a q and a here too! I love meeting the great minds at Disney.

The next item is the most exciting. We’ll head back to our hotel to get ready for the red carpet premiere of PETE’S DRAGON. We’ll hit the red carpet (I’ll try to do some facebook live while there or periscope). Then we’ll head over to the premiere party for PETE’S DRAGON at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. I saw this hotel the last time I was in LA and I was happy to see it. Now I’ll get to be in it! How fun! You usually see some stars at the party which is fun too! After this we’ll go straight to the Premiere Screening of PETE’S DRAGON. If I saw this as a child I don’t remember it. But I’m super excited to see it now! After all this excitement we’ll head back to the hotel where I’ll try to sleep. I’m not sure if I’ll be able too!

Then we’ll be up again for interview day. The first interview will be with with Bryce Dallas Howard. What questions do you have for her? I need some really smart sounding questions please…leave me a comment! Don’t let me down.

Then we’ll interview with Oakes Fegley (“Pete”) & Oona Laurence (“Natalie”). I’ll need more smart questions please! Then finally well Tour of the El Capitan Theatre. This is a fun theater that they have a lot of movie premieres and red carpets at. I can’t wait to find the story behind the piano that they have in this theater. A man plays the piano while you’re waiting on the premiere to start! It’s going to be a fabulous fun few days. Don’t forget to follow along.
