My son is returning to college this year! He’ll be a sophomore and I couldn’t be more proud. He’s done great things in his short life and I can’t wait to see how he will change the world with his degree! We had so much fun shopping for his room! If you’ve got a child heading off to college here are 10 things you’ll need and want to shop for!

If you’ve not been shopping with your college age son you need to do this once in your life. It’s so fun to find out that A. as a mom you have no taste and B. you are no longer allowed to pick out things for them! LOL Check out my fun video we did at the
Whew did you hear that? I can stay as far from campus as possible. That’s not hurful at all! Haha! We had so much fun shopping this day. I love him so but it is time for him to spread his wings and fly. He will do fabulous and hopefully I will too!
10 things you need for a dorm room
After doing all our college trips last year here’s some things we learned that kids will need in their college dorm.
1. Bedding and sheet sets
2. Bathroom rugs
3. Towels
4. Soap dispenser and cup
5. Hairdryer, curling iron
6. Clothes and pj’s
7. Shampoo, soap, razors
8. Computer, paper, pens, backpack
9. Keurig coffeemaker *was the only kind we were allowed to bring* and hotplates were a no no!
10. Storage containers
had so many great items for us to get our student who’s off to college again. He said it best when you can find all things from bedding, bath, art work, tableware and more! My stepson is heading off for his 2nd year of college next month. We definitely need to get him some new stuff.

I LOVE our At Home store! There’s nothing you can’t find at that place, it seems! You have some great finds–his room looks great! In a few years, my first will be heading off to college. I’m not sure I’m ready for that!!!

My son is having his first college apartment this year. We bought a bunch of stuff for his apartment at At Home.
This makes me miss being in college. I took much pride in decorating my dorm room It was the first time I was able to have and show off my own style.

I’m not going to college but that top bedding set up is so dope. I recently visited a Home Store for the first time and I fell in love. I purchase so many things.
