My stepdaughters play travel ball, so it takes us to Springfield sometimes. Last time we were there we totally went to Fantastic Caverns. They even let us bring in puppies! It was awesome. We love the TownePlace Suites there, too!
We have never been to Mo. but Springfield sounds like the place to go. Those caverns look amazing. My family would enjoy those and the zoo too.
I have never been to Springfriend Missouri but it looks like a great trip! This trip would be a doable weekend trip for us so I am going to have to consider it! Looks like the CVB is great to work with too!

I haven’t ever had the chance to visit Springfield but I am going to have to add it to my list of places I want to take my kids! My kids love zoos and that zoo looks like a lot of fun and those caves look amazing. Both seem like very interesting and fun places to visit.
Where is that last picture? It looks so beautiful! Is that a real place? It’s interesting to know that there are so many museums and centers that don’t require an entrance fee. Are those government-maintained institutions are private ones?
I’ve always wanted to do a Route 66 road trip, but now that I’ve moved abroad, I’ve traded road trips for city breaks in places like Vienna and Athens. But there’s something so romantic and nostalgic about a good old fashioned American road trip.
Such an ideal place for a family vacation! I love all of the sites and the activities available for families!
I love visiting Springfield! While it is a big city it still has the feel of a small town, by the friendliness of the people who live there. Bass Pro Shops and the Discovery Center are some of our favorite places to visit.
Wow! That’s a lot of activities in one place. I’m glad that there are places there with no entrance fee. It would be a great chance for budget restricted tourists to enjoy the place. What’s the last picture? Which attraction was it?
Springfield,MO does have a lot to offer and I love visiting places with my family that are not tourist traps. I have a friend who lives in Missouri and she has told us about the Caverns before. I also love visiting local zoos because they are so unique and fun.
