It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a concert. I think the last one I went to was Sting and Natalie Merchant. That would have been 20 years ago. I went for my friend Cyndi and we had the best night. When I go again next year I’ll go for me! It started with a nice dinner. It was an amazing event and the money went to help with Music Education in the Nashville schools and across the nation. I was blown away by so many things about this night.
Let’s look at the lineup that played at Bridgestone Arena!
Keith Urban
Vince Gill
Emmy Lou Harris
Luke Bryan
Florida Georgia Line
Peter Frampton
Sam Hunt
Jason Isbell
Chris Janson
Tracy Lawrence
Maddie & Tae
Maren Morris
That’s an all star line up. It began with Keith Urban playing some of his best known songs. Each artist played 2 songs. Then quite a few of them did a tribute to Merle Haggard. What impressed me the most was the fact that Vince Gill and Keith Urban played the entire time. They didn’t play their songs…well they played a few… but they played everyone else’s songs. It was very impressive. Keith is amazing on the guitar. Vince had his birthday that day and was funny and charming as always. He’s the real deal. He is Nashville Royalty. They brought Vince a Preds cake. They’re in the Stanly Cup playoffs last night! And we lost! Boo! You can see below he had his Preds shirt on. That’s hockey for people not from here!
The Country Music Hall of Fame Museum’s Sixth All for the Hall Benefit Concert Nets Over $712,000. That’s an unreal amount. I’ll admit I’m no longer a huge concert goer. The prices have just gotten out of control. But when I know a concert is going to help educate children that is a concert I can get behind. There was approximately 10000 of us there that night. If you’re thinking of going next year I’ll tell you to not miss it. It was a great time with great friends and I’ll do it again next year! Until next year All for the Hall! Thanks for the memories.
