Looking for some fun and free Earth Day Printables for your kids? I’ve got them!

earth day printables

Earth Day is on Friday, April 22nd this year, and it’s a holiday I always try to celebrate with my kids. Taking care of our earth is something that is not only important, it’s necessary. We want to make sure we leave a beautiful planet for the next generation and beyond right? And who doesn’t love a reason to celebrate this wonderful place we live? Exactly! So every year for Earth Day we spend a lot of time outside taking nature walks, picking up trash in our neighborhood, and thinking of ways we can help the earth! So I thought I would share some of these free Earth Day printables for kids for you and your family to enjoy while celebrating Earth Day this year!

Here are 3 FREE Earth Day printables for kids:

First up we have a fun and easy worksheet that you can have your kids fill out. It’s all about ways we can help the earth! 4 things to repurpose (like crafting with toilet paper rolls!), 3 things to recycle (like newspapers, and plastics bottles), 2 things to reuse (like turning an old tshirt into something new!), and 1 way to reduce (like cutting down on your shower time). After every family member has filled one out, you can see what ideas you can incorporate in your daily life.

Next up we have an Earth Day word search. I love a good word search for any holiday because they are fun and great for kids. It helps with their spelling and word recognition. This word search you can do together and talk about what each word means, and how you can help the world!

And last but not least we have a fun nature walk scavenger hunt! After all, Earth Day is all about getting outside and enjoying our planet! Grab some snacks and the family and head out to your local park, walking trail, or the woods and see all the different creatures and wildlife you can spot. Don’t forget to pick up any trash you might see!

I hope you enjoy these free Earth Day printables for kids and happy Earth Day!
