Fun Easter Snack Mix Recipe!
Who loves fun recipes that are yummy and easy enough for the kids to make on their own!? I know I do! And I’m a sucker for a good theme so I love making snacks for different holidays. Today I tried out a new recipe for Easter! There are so many fun Easter candy so I threw some of my favorites in a Fun Eater Snack Mix and wanted to share it with you guys! This would be a great recipe for a class party, to give out to friends, or to munch on after hunting all those eggs. Enjoy!
Here is how to make this fun Easter Snack Mix recipe:
You Will Need:
- 4 Cups Chex Cereal
- 1/2 Cup Pretzels
- 1/2 Cup Reeses Pieces
- 1/2 Cup Jelly Beans
- 1/2 Cup Bunny Shaped Marshmallows
- White Chocolate Chips
- Peanuts
- Optional: Chia Seeds (I threw those in there because they are good for you and I try to sneak them in when I can ha!)
Step 1: Pour all of your ingredients, except your white chocolate chips) in a bowl and use your hands to mix them all together. (and try not to eat all the marshmallows out of the bowl hehe).
Step 2: Line a cookie pan with parchment paper and pour your mix. Make sure it’s in a single layer.
Step 3: Now comes the super yummy part. Melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave until creamy. Pour in ribbons over your snack mix. Let cool (about an hour).
Step 4: Break up your chunks and serve! You can put them in a bowl and let people munch as they wish or you can package them in cute little gift bags and hand them out to guests.
Make sure you store any leftovers in an airtight container and it should last about a week! (Not that it’s even been around that long in my house haha)
I hope everyone has a happy and fun Easter holiday!
