It’s such an easy job to make tissue paper flowers. We had to make them for my sons production of Under the Sea last year. It was so much fun for my girl and I to make these. Check out how easy it was!

What you need to make the tissue paper flowers.

bread ties or zip ties
5 sheets of the same color tissue paper per flower
scissors

how to fold tissue paper to make tissue paper flowers You’re going to fold it back and forth like a fan or accordion style. So simple to do and this whole process is just easy.

then put a bread tie around folded papers Tie your bread tie in the middle of your long folded sheets of paper.

cut the edges of the tissue paper with scissors to make a rounded edge Cut the edges of the tissue paper with scissors to make a rounded edge to your tissue paper flowers.

separate the layers Separate the layers of tissue paper.

fluff up the tissue paper flowers Then just fluff up the tissue paper flower.

This is a great way to dress up a table for say a graduation party. We used them as flowers on the stage in an Under the Sea children’s school theater production.
