If you’ve ever had to get ready for a party and had no idea what to wear then welcome to the club! I’ve gotten better and one of the reasons I’ve gotten better is because I pay attention to what others are wearing and I ask questions. I want to know what outfit would look best on my body type so I found a few blogs to follow and asked. They told me what would look great on my hourglass frame. I have curves…and a lot of them! So when I picked out my outfits from Monroe and Main I kept that in mind.
My first outfit I went with was long trouser pants and a glimmering baby doll top. I love how the long trousers give me a longer, leaner line.
These pants were paired with peep toe wedges to give me more height as well. I love the silver glitter in the top and how it looks so festive for the coming holidays. Have you tried the longer pant to give you a leaner line?
My favorite outfit was almost an accident! Check me out in my tunic top that I paired with leggings.
Why was this outfit an accident? Well I’m a short girl. I’m 5’1 on a good day! So this shirt in my opinion was too long. However when I paired the medallion tunic with the leggings and looked at the pictures I absolutely fell in love with the outfit. This will be my go to holiday outfit for my Christmas parties. I love it so! I love the arm length on the sleeves. The medallion is beautiful and helps draw the eye away from my hips. It’s such a flattering pretty tunic. The charcoal gray is beautiful and the v neck is the style I love! What do you think? Someone on my facebook page called it a dress! haha #shortgirlprobs Call it whatever you want I’ll be wearing this outfit everywhere I go this holiday season. Doesn’t it look great?
Are you interested in winning a great bag ($50 ARV)for the holidays? How about a $250 shopping trip to Monroe and Main’s website? Wouldn’t that make a great gift for yourself or someone else?
