I’ve been Black Friday shopping and it’s intense. I try to go Black Friday shopping but it’s usually just a run in to one particular store and after all the good deals have been redeemed. I do it that way to avoid the crowds. I’d just rather go when it’s less crowded. But if you’re going there’s some things you can do to ensure that your Black Friday goes smoothly and leaves you in good spirits.

5 ways to make it through Black Friday

5 ways to make it through Black Friday in good spirits!

1. Make sure you eat a good meal with protein. Protein is what’s going to give you the staying power you need to get your holiday shopping done!

2. Drink plenty of water and bring some with you to keep in the car so that you are always hydrated and ready for the sales.

3. Pack snacks and leave them in the car. You can take good snacks like peanut butter crackers, bananas and yogurt or cheese sticks and grapes. Have the fruits washed and in baggies so it’s ready to be gobbled up. Put them in a small cooler with cooler packs in them. Eat healthy so you don’t have a sugar crash which would cause you to need a nap in the middle of your shopping.

4. Wear your most comfortable shoes. You’re in this for the long haul you don’t want to be wearing uncomfortable shoes that are going to have you leaving the stores early. So get those tennis shoes on and laced up with good socks so that you are ready to bring home the deals.

5. Wear layers and comfy clothes. I like to wear my most comfy jeans and a tee shirt with a warm hoodie so that I can take layers off as needed. This way I’m comfy and ready to attack those deals.

Speaking of deals check out what’s happening at Opry Mills Mall and on Sale at our favorite mall in Nashville TN.
