I’m so excited to share with you all what I’ll be doing in a little less than a month away. I’m going to LA and will get to walk the red carpet at THE GOOD DINOSAUR (opening in theatres on 11/25) premiere and also interview the cast & filmmakers from the movie.
Check out the Good Dino trailer!
While I’m there I will also attend a live taping of the 21st season of “Dancing with the Stars” (Monday nights at 8/7c) where I will watch the semi-finalist contestants perform live in the glamorous ballroom! GAH! Pinch me!!!
Then I’ll also visit the Walt Disney Studios Lot for special preview screenings of episodes of hit ABC comedies “black-ish” (Wednesday nights at 9:30/8:30c) and “The Muppets” (Tuesday nights at 8:00/7:00c)!
While on the lot, I will have a meet & greet with the multi-talented Tracee Ellis Ross, who portrays Johnson family mom & anesthesiologist Rainbow “Bow” Johnson (OMG I Love her) on “black-ish” and if you’ve ever admired the beautiful Johnson home, this will be my chance to see the set in person!
And I will also stop by the set of Miss Piggy’s late-night talk show, “Up Late with Miss Piggy” (which Kermit the Frog executive produces, of course) where I will be treated to an exclusive preview screening of an upcoming episode right there on the “Up Late” set. Later, you can take a selfie where famous guests like Elizabeth Banks and Christina Applegate were interviewed by Miss Piggy! HAHA How much fun is that? After the screening, I will participate in a Q&A with “The Muppets” Executive Producer Bill Barretta, who also performs Pepe the King Prawn, Rowlf the Dog, The Swedish Chef, Dr. Teeth and Bobo the Bear (just a few of my favorite characters)!
Last but certainly not least, I will attend a screening of “The Lion Guard: Return of The Roar,” which continues the epic storytelling of “The Lion King” and introduces Kion, the second-born cub of Simba and Nala, as he assumes his role as leader of the Lion Guard, a group of animals tasked with protecting the Pride Lands. The screening to be followed by a Q&A panel with Executive Producer Ford Riley, Composer Christopher Willis, Singer/Songwriter Beau Black and Swahili Consultant Sarah Mirza. Unbelievable!
If you have any pertinent questions you’d like me to ask any of the above mentioned movies or tv shows leave them for me in a comment!
I just came home from a Good Dino Event where we screened some of the movie. Let me tell you… you’re going to LOVE it! The photo you shared above is from one of my favorite scenes in the movie. The Pet Collector is so funny!
Have a GREAT time!!!
The kids and I just heard about The Good Dinosaur and we are super stoked to see it. I bet being part of the event would be a lot of fun. We have 3 episodes of the Muppets on the DVR but we have not watched them yet!
Wow! You get to do so much while you are in LA! I’m so jealous! That dinosaur movie sounds like its going to be awesome! I would love to attend a red carpet event. Maybe one day I’ll be able to do something like that.
You were able to do so much during that trip! I had no idea they were adding in another Lion King movie like this. Being able to attend shows like this is such an amazing experience to get to attend.
Wow it’s going to be so amazing! I cannot wait!! Excited to meet you Dina!
You too! This will be so fun!
I am SO excited to meet you at this event, Dina!
How much fun is this! I can’t wait to see these movies coming out! I had no idea there was a new Lion King movie. It looks good. My kids loved the Lion King so much, plus the other sequels to it.
Oh man totally jelly!! I saw the trailer for Good Dinosaur and had the opportunity to interview the crew……I can’t even express to you how amazing it is! Every last detail has been accounted for and they held nothing back! It is both funny and heartwarming at the same time! I cried twice in the preview– you will just love it!! Have fun and Ill be following along!
Now that’s quite an opportunity! Congratulations 😀 My nieces are looking forward to this movie and I bet if they know what you’re going to be doing, they would love to tag along haha! 😉
Cool! I’ve never been to LA before, but now I know I can bring my son and have things for the two of us to do there.
It sounds like such a great line up of movie screenings and interviews on this trip. I did not know they were making another movie in the Lion King family – I will have to keep my eyes open for it because it is one of my favorites! Can’t wait for the Good Dino to come out – we will for sure see it in the theater!
This is the first time I am hearing about Good Dino. I looks super cute and I know for sure my nieces and nephews would love it. I don’t know about my son but they surely would!!
Wow! What an absolutely exciting time you had in Los Angeles! What amazing opportunities to see! I am a fan of Dancing with the Stars so I am in envy heaven right now hearing you got to see it live! Wish I could too! Thanks for sharing your post!
