The Hermitage is one of those beautiful estates located on the rolling hills outside of Nashville, TN in Old Hickory. Old Hickory was the nickname of our 7th president Andrew Jackson. He, of course, resided there with his wife Rachel. This September they’re excited to announce that the are coming back there!

The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson’s presidential home is a pristeen estate. Located just minutes from downtown Nashville, The Hermitage hosts educational and historical events all year long, ideal for the whole family. This year they are welcoming the , which is returning to The Hermitage after a 10-year hiatus on Saturday, Sept. 12.

This one-day experience will be full of music, dancing, athletics, and food and craft vendors. It’s sure to be a fun time for the entire family. WE can’t wait to go and see what it’s all about.     The Middle Tennessee Highland Games sound like such a fun time! I’ve always wanted to visit Nashville. It seems like there’s also so much to see and do there <3

    My eldest was a competitive Iris Dancer so I just live attending Celtics and Highland games and festivals.

    I would love to go back to Nashville to attend the Highland Games. We were there attending North American Nationals for Irish Dance about 5 years ago.

    This looks right up my alley! We have a “highland games” theme weekend at our Renaissance every year as well. Always one of my favorite themes!

    I love the Highland Games! My Dads side is Scottish (Robertson clan), and I try to go every few years. The music is my favorite part, but the games are pretty cool too!

    I hadn’t heard about the Games in Hermitage. Since I’ve loved the Glasgow Games, I’m looking forward to this one!

    This looks like such a fun way to spend a day. I wish I was close enough to attend. Definitely looks like it’s chock full of fun things to do and see. My son and husband would love this too.
