This post is sponsored by the Barnes & Noble MasterCard, powered by Barclaycard. All opinions are my own.

great info bn

My son started college this past week. It’s been rough. It’s so expensive with getting him books, a laptop, paying his tuition and everything that goes with college. Thank goodness Barnes and Noble is trying to make it a little easier on us parents. Barnes & Noble MasterCard is the best credit card for parents and college students purchasing textbooks, books, and supplies during the back-to-school season and beyond. Many colleges have a Barnes and Noble as their bookstore on campus.

barnes and noble save you money on back to school

When you use your Barclay Barnes and Noble card you earn 5% back on school supplies and texbooks from Barnes and Noble or BN.com. Earning 5% at back-to-school time can really add up. Average cost for books and supplies last year was $1,225 at public colleges and $1,244 at private colleges. Using the Barnes & Noble MasterCard for those purchases at campus Barnes & Noble bookstores or at BN.com could give you an immediate $60 savings. And you receive a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card after your first purchase with the card. Then you receive an additional $25 Barnes & Noble gift card every time you reach 2,500 points. Earn 1 reward point for every $1 spent on all other purchases (excluding Barnes and & Noble purchases), even for everyday purchases like gas and groceries. Use your Barnes & Noble MasterCard to purchase any of the following:
Books
NOOK & NOOK Books
Toys & Games

Textbooks
Gift Cards
Newspapers & Magazines

IF you’re a homeschooling mom they have tons of curriculum for you. My son is in 7th grade and my daughter is in 4th and I saw a lot of books that would be excellent to homeschool with.

IF you teach children in anyway they’ve got great curriculum there for you to use. It can save you a bundle. They have great science kits and so much more.

You can get so much more at Barnes and Noble like a yummy snack. They’re turkey panini’s were really good. But I only had a bite of the cupcake. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Everything was yummy!

There’s so many items you can get at Barnes and Noble that you may not think about. You can get books, dvd’s, games, snacks, Bibles, self help and so much more. It really is a great store to get your student’s textbooks and school supplies at. I may or may not have picked me up a lovely story about Mr. Darcy while I was there! Who knew that Barnes & Noble had a credit card–let alone an entire dining area. With my savings I’d definitely put more money into my business ventures.

Barnes and Nobles is a terrific store. They have a little bit of everything. We homeschooled our son and we bought a lot of his books at Barnes and Nobles.
