DIY Frozen Slime
When it comes to finding new things to do with my kids during summer, I try to find things that are fun, cheap, and easy to make. This week my daughter and I decided to get a little messy and make some DIY Frozen Slime! You only need about 5 minutes of time and 3 ingredients to make this fun craft and your kids are going to love it, promise! We decided to go with an Elsa blue for our DIY Frozen Slime but you could use whatever color you wanted while still using the same recipe. Let’s check out how to make it shall we?
Here is how to make my DIY Frozen Slime:
You Will Need:
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp Borax
- 1 bottle Elmer’s Glitter Glue (you could also use clear glue and food coloring to make your own color)
Step 1: In your cup of warm water add your tsp of borax and mix well to combine.
Step 2: In another small bowl squeeze out your glue. You can add a little hot water into the bottle and swish it around to get the glue that is on the sides out.
Step 3: Slowly add your water and borax mixture into your bowl and gently stir with your glue. It will only take a few seconds to see your slime start to form. Let your slime sit about 5 minutes to soak up the remainder of the water.
Step 4: Remove your slime from the bowl and enjoy! You can mold it, stretch it, throw it, bounce it, anything you want! When it’s time to stop playing with the slime store it in an airtight container or ziploc bag and it should stay good forever!
We had so much fun making this DIY Frozen Slime and even more fun playing with it! You could even add in rhinestones, eyeballs, or any other little trinkets to make it even cooler!
