Sour Gummy Worm Popsicle Recipe
Down here in Tennessee we are under a heat advisory because we are supposed to get up to 106 degrees today. Now I love summer as much as the next person, but I was not built to withstand those types of temperatures. So I am finding any way I can to keep cool and hydrated. What better way than to make your own Popsicles right!? I LOVE making my own popsicles because the possibilities are endless! This week I let my daughter choose the ingredients and she came up with this Sour Gummy Worm Popsicle Recipe which I must say is pretty tasty! Plus there is candy in them, so your kids are sure to go crazy for them!
Here is how to make this Sour Gummy Worm Popsicle Recipe:
You Will Need….
- Popsicle Mold
- Lemon Lime Soda
- Sour Gummy Worms
(Yep, that’s really all your need!)
Step 1: Set up your Popsicle mold
Step 2: Pour your lemon lime soda in to your mold (about 3/4 of the way full)
Step 3: Drop 4 sour gummy worms in each Popsicle mold.
Step 4: Let freeze for a few hours.
Step 5: Take out of the freezer and enjoy!
Yep, with only 2 ingredients and 4 easy steps later you have an awesome frozen treat your kids are going to love! The great thing about making your own Popsicles is that you can go crazy with the flavors! Not a soda fan? No problem! Which out the soda for coconut water. Don’t want your kids having candy? Don’t sweat it, just cut up some colorful fruit and throw it in them instead. The possibilities are really endless. Our personal favorite are these Sour Gummy Worms Popsicles when we are feeling a little silly, or our watermelon lime coconut popsicles when we are trying to lean toward the healthy side. Whatever your style, start making your own popsicles at home!
