Do You Love Oreo Cookies?
I have to admit, I am a huge Oreo fan! I could easily skip dinner for a few of these chocolatey, creamy cookies. I have loved them for years, they have always been my favorite cookies. I have found ways to incorporate my love of Oreo cookies into other recipes. Of course I love Oreo cookies mixed with my vanilla ice cream and Oreo cheesecake is one of the best desserts I have ever had. If you add Oreo cookies to it, it’s a sure bet that I will love it. I wanted to find a way to add my favorite cookie to another favorite dessert which is cupcakes. My first trick is before you add your batter to the cupcake liners, place an Oreo cookie at the bottom of each one. When you peel the liner off the baked cupcake it will have an Oreo cookie bottom! Can you say YUMMY?
While the cupcakes are baking, I made this quick, simple and oh so delicious Oreo Frosting. Now, let me warn you; you will be tempted to eat this frosting with a spoon. It’s that good. Go ahead and sample some and then put the bowl aside so you have some left to frost the cupcakes.
Get Creative With Your Cupcakes
This delicious Oreo frosting goes great with so many different cupcakes, anything with vanilla or chocolate would work together perfectly. Or you can get creative. I love Red Velvet cupcakes with an Oreo bottom and Oreo Frosting. Try it, I think it’s the perfect flavor combination and I think you will enjoy it too.
