I’ve got something special for you!
Hi everyone, I am so glad that you stopped by the blog today because I have something special that you’re going to love! If you are anything like me, you have a little sweet tooth that you need to satisfy every once in a while. One of my favorite sweet treats is Cotton Candy. I absolutely love it, ever since I was a little girl and I tasted it for the first time. There is something about the aroma and flavor of that spun sugar that gets me every time. Anytime we go to a carnival or fair, I buy Cotton Candy for the kids and for myself as well but that doesn’t happen very often. To get my Cotton Candy fix, I buy those little bags or containers in the grocery store that come in different colors. My favorites are the pink and blue.
Thinking Outside The Box
I decided to do something different and use the Cotton Candy to make a special drink for myself and the kids. Ehh, who am I kidding? The kids weren’t even home when I made it, but I did make it for them when they got home that day. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with this Cotton Candy Soda. It’s the taste I have always loved in a soda and that’s pretty cool!
Perfect for a party!
My daughter has already asked if I can serve these when her friends spend the night next weekend and I of course said yes. They are so easy to make but look pretty enough to serve at a party. I will be making a serving or two for myself that night for sure!
- Ginger ale or Soda Water or Sprite
- Cotton candy any flavor you like
- Ice
- Use 4 6oz glasses
- Chill the soda first
- Place Cotton candy in glass all the way to the top
- Pour in the soda of choice 3/4 of the way full
- Let the Cotton Candy dissolve into the drink
